I am sorry to learn about Fern's death. Although none of us have met, Fern is my 1st cousin-once-removed. Her father John and my grandmother Myra Weidner Steiner were brother and sister. My father did have contact with Fern some years ago. As one of the "Chattanooga Weidners," it will be my priviledge to offer a Mass for her at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, TN, where I am pastor.

I just want to extend my deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of your mother. Ms. Fern always had a smile and her laughter was contagious. Your video tribute is beautiful and I know she would just love it! All of you are in my thoughts and prayers!
