Mary, Bud, Cindy, and Mark, I will always remember how sweet Clint was. I would see him from time to time when we were both enrolled at LSU. In the hectic university environment filled strangers, Clint took the time to say hi, ask how I was doing and wished me the best. This brought back the warmth and love of our families and carried me through the day. This will always be my memory of my dear cousin Clint. You have my deepest sympathy.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the Gainey family. I had the pleasure of going to school with Clint from grade school at St. Anthony's all the way to our 1976 Graduation at Remptorist . He was an awesome person and will certainly be missed. May he rest in peace!

I was sorry to read about Clint. I haven't seen him in over 30 years. I wrestled against him for Catholic High with zero success. He threw me around the mat quite well but was always nice about it. He also helped me improve my wrestling when we weren't competing.
