I was so saddened by the news of Marrissa's passing during a recent trip home to Baton Rouge. Marrissa and I attended Mercy together and I have fond memories from slumber parties, to talent show tryouts, and birthdays at El Rio Grande. Please know that the family is in my thoughts and prayers. Marrissa is in a better place where she can watch over each and every one of us daily.
