Born May 15, 1958, in San Antonio, Ricky died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at age 51. He resided in Zachary for the past 14 years at a special-needs home, under the loving care of Gerry and Sam Hawkins. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Chuck Lowman. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Ricky is survived by his daughter, Britany Webber, and her mother, Judy, of Maurepas. He also leaves behind his mother, Carolyn R. Chaney, Baton Rouge; father and stepmother, James T. Jackson Jr. and Irma Lee, Baton Rouge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debby and Sammy Gill, Baton Rouge, Lisa and Wiley Lee, Bull Shoals, Ark., and Sherri and Ashley Bridges, Gonzales; nieces, Shannon and spouse David Denson, Charlotte, N.C., Rachel Gill and fiancé Brandon Kojis, Baton Rouge, Amanda and spouse Colley Bailey, Los Angeles, Jessica Dean and her daughter, Daisy, Gassville, Ark.; other nieces, Olivia and Caroline Bridges, Gonzales; and nephews, Kevin and Steven Lee, Bull Shoals. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Luke and Helen Spragio, James T. Jackson Sr. and Dorothy, and Emile L Rodriguez Jr.; and uncle, Royal Rodriguez.
