Annie Mae "Nute" Thibodeaux

A resident of Denham Springs, she died at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 83 and a native of McNeely Spur. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Frank Uter. Entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Herring and husband Dale, of Denham Springs; son, Joseph Ray Thibodeaux, of Alabaster, Ala.; six grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Thibodeaux; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emile LeJeune; two sisters, Bertha Orillion and Gertrude Crochet; and brother, Emile "Buddy" LeJune. Pallbearers will be Stanley Orillion, James Wainwright, Jamie Wainwright, Howard Mancuso, Ivan Mancuso and Paul Fife.
