A retired Realtor, she died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at 5 p.m. at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 78 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Survived by her daughter, Wendy LeBlanc and Brent; son, Carson Everett and wife Lois; two sisters, Wanda DeCordova and husband Jimmy, and Sydney LeJeune; brother, Marlon Davis and wife Ida Mae; six grandchildren, Brenna LeBlanc, Parker LeBlanc, Easton LeBlanc, Maegan Trahan, James Everett and Dale Everett. Preceded in death by her husband, Duane Everett; and parents. She loved swimming and was a member of the LSU swimming and diving teams. She loved being with her five cats. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CAAWS.
