A native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, died at 9:52 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, at the age of 75. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. until service at 2 p.m., conducted by pastors, Steve Bridges and her son, Tollie M. Coates III. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband, Tollie M. Coates, Jr.; two daughters: Kim Andrews and Angel Ray; one son and daughter-in-law, Tollie M., III and Susan Coates; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael G. and Fay Bordelon; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Hirdy Wade and Margaret Fontenot Bordelon. She was a member of Brownsfield Baptist Church.
