Walter Pete Cole is a native of Plaquemine, Louisiana. He graduated from Commonwealth College of Sciences in Houston, Texas in August 1974. He received his funeral service license in September 1975. Pete has worked in the funeral service industry in Baton Rouge for over 32 years.

Pete is married, has two sons and is in the process of adopting an infant girl from Guatemala.
