Robert (Mac) Floyd McBride, age 84, a native of Church Point, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on November 2, 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Nicolina McBride; his daughters, Lena Bryant and husband James Bryant and Debbie Langlois and husband David Langlois; grandchildren, Christina Lagarosse and husband Sean Lagarosse, Jason Schaefer, Dallas Johnson and husband Garrett Floyd; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Aubrie and Anna Lagarosse, his sisters, Rebecca Lavergne, Catherine Capello, and Rose Richard and husband Lloyd Richard; his brothers, Merlin McBride and Howard McBride and wife, Jeanette McBride; his brother-in-law, Joe Muscarella and wife Margaret; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Anderson McBride, Sr. and Eunice Doucet McBride; son, Sam Coniglio; daughter, Patricia Johnson; his sisters, Sybil Richard and husband Freddie Richard and Noemi (Mim) Bordelon and husband Kenneth Bordelon; his brothers, Joseph McBride and Anderson McBride, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, John H. Lavergne, and Dale Capello.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Bryant, David Langlois, Jason Schaefer, Sean Lagarosse and Garrett Floyd.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 10am until services at 12pm with burial at Louisiana National Cemetery at 2:30pm.
The family of Robert McBride would like to thank Landmark of Baton Rouge and Life Source Hospice for taking such wonderful care of our dad. He has been at Landmark for 9 years and the Management, Nurses and Staff have been great. We would also like to give a special thanks to Corey Clinton for going above and beyond and showing our dad so much love and compassion.
