Adolph Paul "A.P." Brown, Jr.

Adolph P. “A.P.” Brown, Jr., age 88, passed away on July 18, 2023, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs, LA.

A.P. was born on March 23, 1935, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Adolph Sr. and Gertrude Brown. He attended Plaquemine High School, and University of Southwestern Louisiana (ULL), and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1957. A.P. worked for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture as the Human Resource Manager. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, watching LSU and The Saints, spending time outdoors, and loved to visit the Smoky Mountains.

A.P. is survived by his daughter, Stacy Brown Francise (George) and their children Adam (Catherine) Francise and Callie Francise; daughter, Holly Brown Vidrine (Donovan) and their children Jordan Vige and Reagan Vidrine; and great-grandchild, John Paul Francise.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marguerite Watts Brown; his parents, Adolph Paul “A.P.” Brown, Sr., and Gertrude Albus Brown; and his sister, Brenda Brown Devillier.

There will be a private service held for the immediate family at a later date.
