Albert Howell

Albert T. Al Howell, 75, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and good friend. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retiree of BellSouth where he spent a joyful 45 years. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie Pantalone Howell; two daughters and a son-in-law, Stacy and Gene Bazile, and Gabrielle Lundin; granddaughter and her husband, Jaclyn and Josh Bolda; grandsons, Sean Lundin, Alex Lauve and Geno Bazile; a sister and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a volunteer for Special Olympics for many years and a devoted fan of football, especially LSU. He served as an usher at St. Jude Parish until his Parkinson's prevented him from doing so. He was a genuine person and will be missed by those who knew him.
