Annie Fussell

Annie Mae Fussell was called to her eternal home by our heavenly Father on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5:30 p.m. until memorial service at 7 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Merlin Liverman. She is survived by four children, Bennie L. Splain Jr., of Jackson Miss., Hazel E. Levatino, of Baton Rouge, Charles A. Splain, of McKinney, Texas, and daughter, Carol A. Inzinna, of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Beard Hughes; father, Charlie Hughes, who was of Independence; grandmother, Dollie Beard; grandfather, Charlie Beard, who was of New Orleans; and grandson, Michael Joseph Levatino, who was of Baton Rouge. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
