Anthony Brent Bonfanti

Anthony Brent Bonfanti, born on December 14, 1948, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family.

Anthony was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Baton Rouge High School. After high school, he went on to marry the love of his life and become a member of the United States Army. Once his time in the military was completed, he went on to become an operator for Exxon Chemical. Anthony was a member of the Krewe of Tucumcari Ding-a-Ling Dancers. He always enjoyed LSU football, Mardi Gras, crawfish boils, his grandchildren, gardening, and his beloved dogs.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Frances “Teede” Bonfanti; daughters, Cherie Hubbard and husband, Darby, and Crystal Boemia and husband, Shawn; son, Erick Bonfanti and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Keegan Boemia, Karley Boemia, Chase Bonfanti, Macy Bonfanti and Parker Bonfanti; as well as many beloved family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Lovelle Bonfanti; and half-brothers, Joe Bonfanti, Dominic Bonfanti, and Steve Bonfanti.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Visitation will continue at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, January 12, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM until services at 10:00 AM.
