Barbara Osborne

Barbara Jean Osborne, 67, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2011. She was born in Plaquemine on Dec. 30, 1943, and had been a resident of this area all her life. Barbara Jean retired after several years of employment at Lenscrafters and continued working as a beautician. She is survived by her loving husband, Bishop Pete Osborne a daughter, Peggy Rushing a son, Murray Rushing and wife Pam a sister, Adrina Buttercup Rushing and four grandchildren, Stanton Rushing, Karli Rushing, Hannah Williams and Keifer Rushing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Peg and Nina Ferguson a sister, Laverne Parnell and a brother, Jesse Fuzzy Ferguson. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Sept. 19, from noon until funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
