Barbara Vick

Barbara Drago Vick, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on October 14th, 2019, at the age of 84. She was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and an active choir member of the Catholic Daughters. Also volunteered with the special Olympics and was a tutor for elementary students.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Jeff Vick, Gerald Vick, Jr. and wife Liz; daughters; Brenda Watkins and husband Keith, Roxanne Parsons and husband Carl and Karen Smith and husband Erwin; brothers, Mike Drago and Greg Drago; sisters, Ida Arnold, Shelia Lacour and Vanessa Drago; and 12 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Vick; her parents, Frank and Belva Drago; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

She will miss her chocolate, cashews and DQ Blizzards.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
