Bennie Adcock, Sr.

Bennie Lee Adcock, Sr., age 85, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on April 15, 2022.

He was born in Bartow, Florida. He attended Troy State University, and was a native of Baton Rouge for 54 years. Bennie worked in the chemical industry until he retired. He enjoyed golf, fishing, diving, and the water ski team at Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida.

Bennie is survived by his son, Benjie Adcock; daughter-in-law, Leisa Adcock; daughter, Ruth Ann Adcock; brother, Jim Adcock of Bartow, Florida; granddaughters, Emily Adcock and Hailey Humphries.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Adcock; daughter, Melanie Adcock; son-in-law Steven Humphries and parents, Bert and Susie Adcock of Bartow, Florida.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM until services at 3:00 PM.
