Bernadine Jackson

Bernadine Jackson was born on December 18, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Ernest Carl and Virgie Mae Jackson.  She was a 1968 graduate of Carver Senior High School.  Bernadine worked in the healthcare industry, with 30 years at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans and 20 years in home healthcare, before her retirement.

On June 8, 2023, she entered into eternal rest.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Janet Jackson and Lucinda Jackson Berry; and her brothers Ernest C. Jackson, Jr. and Bernard Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved son Mark Anthony Jackson; godchild Ivory Vinnett; two sisters, Wanda Jean Jackson and Virgie Mae Jackson; and her brothers Melvin Jackson, Tony Jackson, Eugene Jackson, Calvin Jackson, Stanley Jackson and Aaron Jackson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home on Saturday, June 17, 2023.  A private burial will be held for the family.
