Bettie, 68, entered into rest to be with her Lord on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee, a resident of Greenwell Springs and a native of San Jacinto County, Texas. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 1 p.m. until chapel service at 5 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Keith McAllister. Graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Monday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. Survived by six sons and five daughers-in-law, James and Teressa Hernandez, Tony and Renee Hernandez, Paul and Stacey McAllister, Keith and Debra McAllister, Randy McAllister, and Mike and Connie McAllister; daughter, Wanda Forbes and husband Ricki; sister, Jo Ann Martin and husband James; two brothers, Arnold Aaron and Charles Billingsley and wife Pam; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother, Margie Moody Aaron. She was a member of House of Praise Church.
