Billy Thomason

A resident of Watson and a native of Texarkana, Ark., he died at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008. He was 70. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mike Collins. He is survived by his wife, Frances Mapes Thomason; a daughter and son-in-law Tamara and Steven Laurie; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony and Kimberly Thomason and David Thomason; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Louise Dobbs, Mary Mages and Linda and Wayne Johnson; a brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Jeannette Thomason; sister-in-law, Betty Thomason; grandchildren, Katie and Sean Moran, Kimberly and Brett Broussard, Kristie Laurie, Sarah Thomason and Sydney Thomason; and great-grandchildren, Skyler, Brooklyn and Jared Moran and Hayden Broussard. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Minnie Thomason; a sister, Shirley Burnett; and two brothers, Robert Thomason and James Thomason.
