Bobbie Easley

Bobbie Easley, age 83 a resident of East Baton Rouge passed away on May 20, 2022. Bobbie was co-founder of Superior Steel, LLC in 1967 with her husband Joe.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and will be deeply missed.  She graduated from Hicks High School in 1958 in Vernon parish.  Bobbie was married to Joseph E. Easley for 63 years.  They resided in Central, LA.  She was an active member of Comite Baptist Church. Bobbie is survived by her husband Joseph Easley, son Joseph Jr and wife Jan, daughter Lynn Laris and husband Rudy Jr, son Jeff and wife Patra, son-in law Brian Cavin.  Brother Ronnie Parker wife Viola of Tyler, Tx.   Eight grandchildren – Jeffrey and Ashley Easley, Joseph III and Allie Easley, Jaclyn and Justin Soileau, Megan and Derek Gann, Jordan and Scott Branta, Rudy and Heidi Laris, Shelby and Blake Collins, and Madelynn Langham Easley. Eight great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Jodie Michelle Cavin, father and mother Andrew and Elizabeth Parker, sisters Cora Michelli, Jessie Sanders, Hazel Sanders, Geneva Knippers, Bonnie Rheams, Agnus Parker.  Brothers Elton Parker and Walter Parker. Visiting hours will be at Comite Baptist Church on May 26 10:00am to 12:00pm with service at 12:00pm.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearer’s will be Jeffrey Easley Jr., Joseph Easley III, Derek Gann, Scotty Easley, Jeremey Easley, Blake Collins, Scott Branta, Rudy Laris III, Justin Soileau.
