Bobbie Jean Spillman

Bobbie Jean Spillman, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the age of 92. Bobbie was born on February 4, 1934, in Merryville, Louisiana, daughter of the late Kay Hare and Lottie Mae Fountain. She was an exceptional cook, and devoted mother, cherishing time spent with her family and beloved pets. She will be deeply missed.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Joseph Spillman; parents, Kay Hare and Lottie Mae Johnston; daughter, Terry Spillman LeSage; and grandchildren, Ivy Michael Spillman, Jacob LeSage, and Fares “Shawky” Madnat, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Spillman Landry and Cleveland Ivy Spillman (Henrietta); grandchildren, Peter Joseph Spillman and Carey Renee Jackson; sister, Patricia Newman; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Resthaven, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, in Baton Rouge, from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 10:00 AM, with graveside services to follow.
