Brandi Waguespack

Brandi Cecilia Waguespack, a beautiful 26-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

The simplest pleasures of life brought great joy to Brandi. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved Christmas time. She always looked forward to celebrating everyone’s birthday with a nice brunch or social gathering.

Brandi had the most beautiful eyes and a contagious smile that lit up the room.

Brandi attended St. Michael the Archangel High School then graduated from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She then went on to work as a Registered Nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, where she touched countless peoples’ lives and continued to make numerous friends.

Brandi is survived by her fiancé, Brayden Thompson; mother, Angela Ferguson Pitts; father, Ray Waguespack, Jr. and stepmother, Melony DeShazo Waguespack; brothers, Austin and Cody Waguespack; sister Leighanna Waguespack; maternal grandmother, Cecilia Ferguson; paternal grandparents, Sharon Waguespack and Ray Waguespack, Sr.; paternal great-grandmother, Winona Summers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brandi was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Claude Ferguson.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m.  Visitation will continue at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cobey Roy, Shawn Limbers, Brayden Thompson, Vaughn Davis, Keifer Rushing, and Wyatt Buhler.
