Brenda J. Manske

Brenda J. Manske, born on February 2, 1945, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the age of 81.

Brenda was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and become a resident of Erwinville, Louisiana. She later married her love, Richard G. Manske, and became a dedicated Air Force spouse, supporting him throughout his years of military service. She also dedicated her time to creating a loving home for her family. Brenda was a member at Erwinville Baptist Church. She was the anchor of her family and enjoyed hosting holidays to have all of her family in one place. Brenda loved decorating her home to make it cozy and comfortable. She also always cherished spending time with friends, cooking, and baking.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Richard G. Manske; daughters, Elizabeth Davis and Ginger (Tom) Coke; son, Ricky (Tracy) Manske; grandchildren, Lee (Leah) Davis, Chad (Alysia) Davis, Devin Manske (fiancé Liz), Dylan Manske (fiancé Hannah), Rachelle (Terry) Miles, Ashley (Robbie) Miller, and Erika (Bryce) Ogle; and great-grandchildren, Jase Davis, Addie (Brogan) Carline, Deacon Davis, Gunnar Davis, Presley Davis, Drake Davis, Cooper Davis, Rileigh Coke, Blakely Ogle, Jameson Ogle, Aurora Miller, and Stella Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Jones and Margaret Ethel Jones; sister, Jackie Mayers; brother, William “WL” Jones; and son-in-law, Joey Davis.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brenda’s life on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with services beginning at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will include Ricky Manske, Devin Manske, Dylan Manske, Lee Davis, Wayne Mayers, and Chad Davis. Honorary pallbearers will include Billy Jones, Mike Manske, Drake Davis, Deacon Davis, Gunnar Davis, Jase Davis, and Jameson Ogle.
