Britney Ann Moss

Britney Ann Moss passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born on October 18, 1986, in Houma, Louisiana, to Robert William Moss III and Tonya Gary.

She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 2005 and went to further her education at Baton Rouge Community College, obtaining her associate’s in business. Growing up, Britney excelled at whatever she put her mind to. She was very creative and had a love for the arts. She took joy in drawing and listening to music. Britney was an athlete; she loved volleyball and swimming. She lived her faith as a believer in in God, occasionally attending the Family Worship Center Church. Britney was a charismatic, energetic person who had never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Tonya Gary and her grandparents, Robert William Moss Jr. and Geraldine Moss.

Britney is survived by her father, Robert William Moss III; her sisters, Nicole Savard (William) and Katelyn Monic (Dane); her sons, Cole Buchanan, Abram Buchanan, and Roman Ellis; her grandparents, Arline Shinn and Olen Gary, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring Britney at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy in Baton Rouge, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m.
