Carl Mcqueary

Carl Lloyd McQueary, age 91, native of Jasonville, Indiana, and resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday December 12, 2015.

Carl was a World War II veteran and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He also enjoyed gardening very much.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Margaret Cecelia Higginbotham McQueary; daughter, Deborah Bata; son, Michael McQueary and wife Mary; grandchildren, Tabitha Tourrere, Kristen Retana, Matthew McQueary and wife Ashley, and Noah Bata; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Max McQueary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Effie McQueary; three brothers; and one sister.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 12:00 PM until services at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
