Carlis Glynn Sr.

Carlis Joseph Glynn, Sr., a resident of Baton Rouge, LA., passed away on November 4, 2018, at the age of 87.

Carlis is survived by his wife, Susan Ann Glynn; his child, Rhonda Martin and her husband Willie Martin; his sisters, Audrey G. Jones, Myrtle G. Page, and Mercedes G. Rousseau; his brother, Donald J. Glynn; and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by the mother of their three children Estelle Nichols Glynn; children, Carlis Glynn, Jr. and Darleen Glynn; his parents, Henry Percy Glynn and Ann Emily Cavalier Glynn; second wife, Jean Glynn; his great-grandchild, Faith; his brother, Clyde Henry Glynn; his brothers-in-law, Cliff Page, Buddy Rousseau, and Robert L. Jones.

Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA., on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St George Dr. Baton Rouge, LA., from 9:30 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Prairieville Cemetery.
