A retired bus driver with the East Baton Rouge Parish school system, she died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 68 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, April 25, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel on Saturday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Frank Bass. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Joseph Joe Comeaux; two daughters and sons-in-law, Roxie and John Hamilton Jr. and Lisa and Jerald Maxwell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Jeff and Alyssa Comeaux and Rodney and Jan Comeaux; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Randy Saucier and Brenda and Ervin Parent; two brothers and sister-in-law, Danny Amond and Richard Dickie and Esther Amond; 10 grandchildren, Jake, Cody, Kyle, Austin, Clayton and Dustin Comeaux, Jed, Ethan, Caleb and Seth Hamilton; two stepgranddaughters, Kristy and Stefany Maxwell; a stepgrandson, Robert Dampier Jr.; a stepgreat-grandson, Hunter Scott Dampier; and numerous nieces and nephews that were loved by her very much. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. She was a parishioner of St. George Catholic Church.
