Carolyn “Kay” Acosta Templet, age 79, a native of Baton Rouge, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at The Guest House Nursing Home. She worked in sales and was a homemaker. She enjoyed arts and crafts, music and dancing. She was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Troy and wife Shelia Templet; granddaughter, Gabrielle Templet Geiger and husband Corey; grandson, A.J. Templet; great grandsons, Gavin and Nolan Geiger; sister, Deanna Salamoni; brother-in-law, Charles Templet and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Templet; son, Burt Templet; great grandsons, Lincoln and Bennett Geiger; parents, Ulysses and Daisy Acosta; and in-laws, Charles and Mamie Templet.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 8:30 am until services at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
