Cathy Lauw Boudreaux

Our beautiful Momma, Catherine Tucker Lauw Boudreaux, was born on May 1, 1949, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Everett Tucker and Thelma and Wendell “Mac” McDonald, and passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the age of 76.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmie Dale Lauw; and second husband, Walter Boudreaux.

Cathy is survived by her daughters, Kim Fortinberry (Greg) and Kelli Oulman (Mark); stepchildren, Shannon Boudreaux (Dawn), and Jolee Boudreaux; grandchildren, Cole Fortinberry (Chelsi), Jacob Oulman, Mikala Oulman, and Austin Fortinberry; step-grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Kali Smith, Tyler Boudreaux (Briauna), and Brycen Boudreaux; great-grandchildren, Ellie Oulman, Ember Oulman, Judson Fortinberry, Jacob Oulman, Jr., Karsyn Fortinberry, Damian Oulman, and Wesson Fortinberry; and step-great-grandchild, Zander Boudreaux.

She was a devoted and loving wife, Momma, MawMaw, Nannie, and GiGi. Cathy was a true blessing to her family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate team at Baton Rouge Hospice for the exceptional care, dignity, and comfort they provided. We are also thankful for the caregivers who cared for her in the warmth of her home. A very special and heartfelt thank you is extended to Dana Hendry, whose years of steadfast love, patience, and care became a true blessing in her life. Dana’s presence was a source of comfort, joy, and reassurance, and her devotion will forever be remembered with deep appreciation and love.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Cathy’s life on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with services beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will include Cole Fortinberry, Austin Fortinberry, Jacob Oulman, Jacob Smith, Tyler Boudreaux, and Brycen Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will include Mark Oulman, Greg Fortinberry, and Shannon Boudreaux.
