Catherine Gauthier

Catherine G. Gauthier, 98, a resident of Baton Rouge for the last 59 years, passed away on June 2, 2018. She was born in Cottonport, LA on August 31, 1919. Mrs. Gauthier is survived by 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Blumes Gauthier. Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven on Thursday June 7 from noon until services at 2pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven. She lived a life of dedication to her faith, family, and friends. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Gauthier and her family would much prefer for those who read this to go out into the world and show compassion for your fellow man by performing acts of kindness for the ones who need it the most.
