Charles Greer

Charles Herbert Greer, 79, a resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Charles was born March 28, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to Walter and Leola Greer.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  Charles retired as a Substation Foreman from Entergy/Gulf States Utilities after a career spanning 36 years.

Charles is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Honey and Sam Morris; grandson, Brady Andrew Morris; granddaughter, Mallory Adelaide Morris; sisters, Joan Solley and Sylvia Yeager; brother, Bob Greer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Adelaide Bankston Greer; parents, Walter and Leola Greer, and father and mother-in-law, Richard and Kathryn Bankston.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 9:00am until services begin at 11:00am.
