Charles Mclane

Charles Russell Rusty McLane was born March 21, 1967, in Baton Rouge. He passed away in his home Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at about 4 p.m. He was known for his quick wit and outgoing personality. He delighted in making people laugh and feel at ease. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy McLane. He is survived by his only child, Alex McLane father and stepmother, Wesley and Marianne McLane and sister and brotherinlaw, Cindy McLane Smith and Dr. Lionel L. Smith and their children, Brandon Bourgeois, Avery Smith and Barkley Booker. Visitiation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 10am until a memorial service at 10:30am, conducted by Pastor Ken Spivey.
