Christine Derouen

An employee with Blue CrossBlue Shield for the past 21 years, she died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009. She was 54, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Chris Derouen; parents, Alfred V. Petit and Joyce J. Petit; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Scott Williams, and Valerie and Ryan Stevens, all of Jackson, Miss.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Degan, of Atlanta, and Paul and Tracy Derouen, of Austin, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynne and Jeff Petit; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Gail Petit; two grandchildren, Amber Williams and Michael Williams, of Jackson; a nephew, Jeff Pisto; and two nieces, Ami Petit and Jama.
