Christopher "Chris" Adam LeDoux

June 11, 1973 — August 7, 2025

Christopher “Chris” Adam LeDoux passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 52. He was born June 11, 1973, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Michael and Jacolyn LeDoux.

Chris loved music - loved listening and contemplating life as well as singing his favorite songs. Chris was passionate about creative arts in all forms. He drew powerful images with brush and pen and digital media conveying deep emotion. He loved taking his watercolor paint pallet with him wherever he went and capturing images that caught his eye, breathing life into every canvas he touched. His creative ability extended beyond the visual; He was a master storyteller, weaving vivid narratives through songs, short stories and gaming adventures. Whether found playing games at home, at a friend’s house, or at Gamers Paradise, Chris was always seeking the next adventure, leaving a mark of laughter and joy in his wake. His creative genius, sense of humor and unique style will be missed by all who knew him.

More than all these things, he loved his family the most. 26 years ago, Chris married the love of his life, Laura. During a mission trip to Peru, they started dating and the rest was history. He was a committed faithful husband and best friend. The couple’s greatest treasures are their two wonderful children who helped shape him into an amazing father. He devoted himself to his family constantly striving to be more and do better for his family. He took immense pride in his children, cheering them on at every event and celebrating their achievements.

Family game nights brought him joy, as did their adventures – whether exploring local sites, visiting National Parks, or enjoying magical moments at Disney and Universal. One of his cherished memories was the time spent in the ocean with his family in Costa Rica after enduring an eight-month hospital stay in 2022. This moment felt like a dream come true for Chris who thought this would never happen. He was a fighter and fought to have more time with his family.

Chris, you have run the good race, and your labor was not in vain. Enter into your well-deserved rest and peace, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherished memories that will live on in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Jacolyn LeDoux; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Featherston and Mr. and Mrs. Jay LeDoux; aunt, Karen Williams; and uncle, Ronnie Stephens (Wanda).

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Laura; daughter, Jacquelynn LeDoux; son, Stephen LeDoux; sister, Brittany Ricord (Chris); brothers, Ryan LeDoux and Robert Williams; aunts, Lisa Newman (Scott), Angie Rawson (Jimmie), Jane Silvernail (Dave), and Vicki Magruder (Roy); nieces, Adelynn, Ella-Grace, and Isabelle; nephews, Clifton and William (Ashley); numerous beloved cousins; and his pets, Koda, Rocket, Mochi, and his beloved Chani.
