Clay H. Swindler age 52, a resident of Mansura formerly of Shreveport, passed away on 10/7/22 surrounded by his family.
Clay enjoyed fishing, football, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was most happy watching LSU football and being a dad. He had a great sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. Clay was a Sales Representative for Carry- On- Trailer for 17 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Caroline Swindler, mother, Sandra Swindler of Baton Rouge, sister, Shannon LaBorde (Garry) Ethan and Ella of Madisonville, half-brother Micheal Heger of Austin, TX, and niece Holley as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Howard B Swindler, Jr, his maternal grandparents, Richard and Ily Tassin formerly of Mansura and paternal grandparents Howard and Alma Swindler, formerly of Cottonport.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Friday, October 21st, 2022, from 10:30-11:30 until services at 11:30.
