Colleen Cancienne

Colleen Liane Fullman Cancienne, resident of Atlanta, GA and former native of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 51 after a short but courageous battle with leukemia. Colleen was born November 29, 1970 to William George Fullman and the late Barbara Jean Adams Fullman.

Colleen was a graduate of Cornerstone Academy in Baton Rouge and went on to earn a degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho. She subsequently completed her nursing training and spent her professional career as a home health nurse providing care for medically fragile children. Her primary joy was her role as wife and mother. She provided a loving home and nurturing environment that resulted in strong, faithful children. Colleen was a devout life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she gave countless hours of service for the benefit of others.

Colleen is survived by her husband of 27 years, Brent Peter Cancienne, their three children Megan Paige Cancienne, Mckay Nicole Cancienne, and Nathan Thomas Cancienne. Colleen is further survived by her father, William George Fullman, sisters, Eydie Ann Abel (Donald), LaDawn Hinkston (Robert), Ginger Ferguson (Jason) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Adams Fullman and her in-laws, Lloyd Thomas Cancienne and Lillie Mae Gaubert Cancienne.

Visitation will be on Monday 10/24/22 from 12:30-2:00 with the funeral service immediately following at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 25367 Riverton Avenue, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Interment following funeral services at Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
