May 8, 1929 — July 15, 2008
A homemaker and a resident of Central, she died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 79 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Saturday, July 19, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow service in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her three daughters, Sheila Smith, Sandy Peairs and husband Roger, and Sheri Smith; son, Kenneth Smith and wife Gloria; sister, Maryann Accardo and husband Joe; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Millard Smith; father, Joe Sampere; mother, Odile Inzinnia; stepfather, Nunzio Inzinnia; and sister, Sue Pigno. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and enjoyed helping others.
