Dana Beck

We regret to announce the passing of Dana Beck, age 75, of Baton Rouge, LA, on January 25, 2022. Dana passed away, surrounded by her loved ones, from a long battle with cancer. Dana was born December 20, 1946 in Freehold, New Jersey. She and her parents later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. As an adult she became a long term resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a devoted Christian as well as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a dear friend to many and her home was always open to anyone in need.

Dana was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Garbarini Roe, father Dana Bertram Roe, long term partner Leonard Humphreys, and daughter Stephanie Bowers Donau.

She is survived by her daughter Janice McKey; sons Patrick Mulcahy and J Bowers; son in law Clifford McKey; daughter in law Bridgette Bowers; six grand children Matthew McKey and wife Amanda, Ryan Mulcahy, Kimberly McKey, Jamie McKey, Ashley Donau Hutto, and Michael Bowers; and five great grand children Brock McKey, Audrey McKey, Nya Selvage, Kinsley Hutto, and Ethan Hutto.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Services will take place on Monday January 31, 2022 from 9:00 AM until Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
