Danny Dew

Danny Ray Dew, age 68, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on May 22, 2016.

Danny served proudly in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He was active in the Vietnam War and received an Honorable Discharge.

Danny is survived by his wife of 16 years, Carol Dew; his mother, Ann Strickland; his daughters, Brittani, April and Candice Dew; his sons, Danny Ray Dew, Jr. and Daryl James Dew; his four grandchildren, Eva, Owen, Araya Lynn, and Jordan; his sister, Terri Arnold and husband, Rodney; his aunt, Pat Blanchard; his uncle, Billy Sanders; his first wife, Ashley Dew; and numerous other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Strickland, and his uncle, Larry Sanders.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway. Visitation will resume on Friday, May 27, 2016, starting at 11:00 AM until services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
