A native of Vientiane, Laos, and resident of Prairieville, he passed away at age 59 on Friday, Oct. 6, 2011. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Oct. 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. until service at noon. He is survived by his wife, Keo Bounnavong daughters, Ladda Bounnavong, Diana Bounnavong and husband Boi Phiavong, and Daisy Bounnavong son, Daovorn Bounnavong and wife Mica Pham seven grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.
