David Sneed

David Sneed, age 60, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on October 22, 2021.

David was an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Jennings High School, LSU, and McDonald's Hamburger University. No, seriously. He had a degree in Hamburgerology! His life centered around family, food, history, Scouting, education, and jokes (often very bad dad jokes).

David is survived by his wife Angela Istre Sneed; his 3 children and their spouses; Joshua Sneed, Jacob Sneed (Skotti Sneed), Rebecca Sneed Rumney (Andrew Rumney); his 3 brothers; Jerry, Terry, and Bo Sneed; his mother Helen Clement Sneed; his 5 grandchildren; Kamryn Duran, Liam Sneed, Charlotte Sneed, Marshall Rumney, and Riley Rumney.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur O. Sneed.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday October 26th from 6:00pm-8:00 (family only at 5:00PM) and again on Wednesday October 27th from 9:00am-10:00am.

The funeral service will be held immediately after Wednesday's visitation at 10:00am.

Interment will be at a later date.
