Dawn Mitchener

alignjustifyA resident of Baton Rouge, she went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at 2:22 p.m. Born Aug. 5, 1942, she was 65. Dawn taught school for more than 35 years in East Feliciana, Livingston, East and West Baton Rouge parishes before retiring in 2005. She had been working part-time in the garden center at Lowe's on Siegen Lane. She had a passion for plants and flowers and enjoyed working in her yard and beautiful flower gardens. To her many friends, neighbors and family, she was kind and always shared her many talents helping others. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Curtis Anderson Mitchener Sr. She leaves behind two sons, Curt and Jason; and mother, May Harmann. Burial services pending.
