Deborah Ann Brown, 69 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice House on January 9, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1953 in Wynne, Arkansas to James E. Scott and Ellerzine “Zine” Loyd. Deborah was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spoiling her fur babies. She loved going to Mardi Gras and tailgating at LSU football games.

Survivors include; husband: Lloyd Brown of Baton Rouge,LA ; son: Brian West of Baton Rouge,LA ; step daughter: Kim Marshall and husband Chad Marshall of Nevada, MO; step sons: Curtis Brown and Patrick Brown both of Jonesboro, AR; sister: Mary Mays of Cherry Valley, AR ; niece and nephews; Tammy Weeks, Jay Scott, and Robby Scott and wife Denise all of Cherry Valley, AR; Deborah is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James E.  and Ellerzine Scott, brother; James “Doots” Scott, and niece; Tanya Andrews.

Visitation will be held January 13, 2023 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 5-8pm. Graveside services and burial to follow will be held on January 16, 2023 at 10AM at Akin Cemetery in Pleasant Hill near Vanndale, Arkansas with Pastor, James McElroy officiating.  Pallbearers include: Jay Scott, Robby Scott, Andrew Morse, Kevin Brooks, Butch Peeler, and Jacob Chisem.
