Deborah Landry

A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 9:02 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 52 and loved LSU football, growing plants, boiled crabs and her granddaughter. It was her wish to be cremated. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. She is survived by her husband, John L. Landry Sr.; daughter, Susie Wingate; stepdaughter, Tasha Landry; son, Jesse Wingate; stepson, John T. Landry Jr.; two sisters, Nancy Tucker-Beam and Darlene Tucker-May; brother, Billy Tucker; granddaughter, Kali Rayne Glaser; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many special friends and her baby, Oreo. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Violet Tucker; and grandson, Colby Connor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
