Derrick Bonvillain

November 12, 1993 — October 8, 2021

Derrick Michael Bonvillain, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on October 8, 2021 as a result of injuries from an accident at age 27.

Derrick was a kind-hearted, old soul that never met a stranger. He greeted everyone with a smile and a big hug. He loved with all of his heart and always lived life to the fullest. Derrick loved spending time with his family and friends in the great outdoors. Whether he was fishing, big game hunting in Montana or deer hunting at their camp in Mississippi, he was never without his dad, brother, brother in law or close family and friends. He enjoyed phone calls with his devoted mom and dropping in at his sister’s to play with his niece and nephew. Derrick spent his adult years working at the family business, Capital Ultrasonics.

Derrick is survived by parents, Dayne "Chopper" and Linda Allemond Bonvillain; sister Kayla Bonvillain LeBlanc and husband Matthew LeBlanc, and twin brother Taylor “Bubba” Bonvillain; grandparents Geraldine Allemond, Arthur and Dorothy Keesing, Daniel and Peggy Bonvillain; niece Lexi LeBlanc and nephew Lucas LeBlanc. Derrick is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by grandfather Allen Allemond Sr., uncle Bryne Allemond Sr., and cousin Bryne Allemond Jr.
