Dillard Wise

A retired welders foreman for McDermott Construction, he died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 80 and a native of Woodville, Texas. Private graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, June 12, at 9 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. He is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Wise, of St. Augustine, Fla., and Shari Wise, of Victoria, Texas; adopted son, Billy Ray Wise, of St. Augustine; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Britten Wise; and two sisters, Velma Irish and Doris Wise.
