Dolores LeBlanc Thompson

Dolores Marie LeBlanc Thompson passed away surrounded by her devoted family on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.  She was born July 19, 1949, in Sunshine, Louisiana to Jules LeBlanc and Lena Acaldo LeBlanc. 

She worked many years alongside her son at Louisiana Football Magazine, where she held many positions including accountant and business manager.  Dolores had a love for cooking, caring for her cats, but none of those came close to the love that she had for her family.  We will cherish the memories that we have.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Juanita Gomez, Paul LeBlanc, Joe LeBlanc, Shirley Rabalais, Ted LeBlanc, Donald LeBlanc and Charles LeBlanc.  Dolores is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Carl Thompson; her children Lee Brecheen Jr., and Lisa Brecheen Payne; her sisters Cecilia LeBlanc Cappo and Carol LeBlanc Kinchen; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Private services were held for the family.
