A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at age 88. Graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Alford King; son, Gary King; two grandchildren, Christy King and Julie Hilbun and husband Scott; and great-grandchild, Andrew King.
