Edith C. Foy, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, just 3 days shy of her 97th birthday.
Edith loved spending time with her family and said that the best decision she ever made was choosing to follow her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Tirante (Tony), Charlene Raymond (Kenneth), Pat Foy (Janet), Beaver Foy, and Greg Foy; her grandchildren, Derek Polk (Becky), Chad Polk (Allison), Craig Polk (Melanie), Heather Banker (Ron), Jeff Adams, Morgan Bellelo (Dwayne), Landon Leger, Logan Leger Trisha Jarreau (Lance), Aimee Foy, Patrick Foy (Laura), Allison Bourgeois (Julian), Adam Foy (Ashley), Christina Foy and Jacob Foy (Alexis); her great-grandchildren, Aadyn, Gemma, Oliver, Annelise, Hawk Wyatt, Gracyn, Jake, Katelyn, Whitney, Lane, Carson, Ryleigh, Ava, Ryder, Aubreigh, Annaleigh, Haley, Carter, Cooper, Andi, Drew, Hudson, Wesley, Jane and Emmet James (due to arrive September 20); and her great-great-grandchild, Rose Lauryn.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles E. Foy, Jr.; her parents, Wesley and Jesse Cragin; her siblings, Naylor and Flo Cragin, Wes Cragin, and John and Helen Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Linda Foy and her granddaughter, Lauryn Daboval.
Private services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home.
