Elizabeth Reeder

March 9, 1937 — February 17, 2021

Elizabeth “Betsy” Reeder, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. A lifelong resident of Louisiana, Betsy was retired from the Louisiana Office of Group Benefits and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She loved the Lord so faithfully and now rests in His loving arms.

Betsy is survived by her children, Ted Reeder, Jr. (wife Michelle), Kay Ross, and Donna Pellegrin, grandchildren, Jeremy Ross, Cody Ross, Amanda Reeder, and Jonathan Pellegrin, as well as six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Reeder, Sr., parents Reed & Mabun Barnett, adopted parents Cliff & Iva “Wobby” Stringfield, brothers Hollis, James Ray, & Robert, and sister Muriel.

Betsy dearly loved her family and friends, often putting them before her own needs. She had a heart of gold and a beautiful soul. Betsy will be greatly missed and loved forever by everyone whose life she touched.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Monday, February 22, 2021 from 12:30pm until services at 2:30pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Garden of Peace.
